New Journal - EJSD
Posted by Kendra Okonski · 30 November 2006 · Sustainable Development
What is "sustainable development" – and how can it be achieved? The Electronic Journal of Sustainable Development is a new peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary online journal which will seek to answer these and other questions. The editors will accept scholarly articles on a continual basis in the realms of public policy, science, economics and law as they relate to the concept of sustainable development and its various facets (i.e. human well-being, economic growth, environmental quality, natural resource use and management, innovation and technological change). The first issue of the EJSD will be published July 2007. Volume 1, Issue 1 will explore “The nature of sustainable development.” Submission guidelines can be found at www.ejsd.org The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2006. The EJSD is a co-publication of International Policy Network (www.policynetwork.net) and the University of Buckingham (www.buckingham.ac.uk). Based in London, IPN is an independent, non-profit think tank which educates the public about markets and their underlying institutions in the context of global policy issues relating to trade, health, technology, development and the environment. The University of Buckingham is the only independent university in the UK. For more information, visit www.ejsd.org or email editor =AT.= ejsd.org. |
